One of the top questions I get asked about outsourcing to virtual assistants is how to I keep them busy doing productive tasks all day.
This is important for two reasons:
- It trains them to work when they are at work, not become a slacker
- You aren’t paying for them to slack off doing nothing
Mind you there are always going to be times when you are unable to give them a task in time and you loose a day here or there but this stratagy helps get rid of a lot of wastage.
The top two tasks you can have them doing by default are:
- Writing and/or article marketing and/or blogging for you
- Link building (blog commenting, forum posts, directory submissions)
Both are relatively easy to setup and with half an our can get good work happening when you have nothing for them to do. This also gives you resources and builds up your existing web properties with content and marketing adding value to them and making them look more paletable to search engines such as google.
