So last night I had about half an hour to kill and remembered that there is still an episode of Tony Robbins “New Money Masters” series that I haven’t watched yet with John Reese (a guy that I didn’t really know a lot about) so I flicked it on and to my suprise it was one of the, if not the best interview to date.
It went for nearly 2 hours and there were so many good points that I will be blogging about for a while but my biggest take away was the idea John brought up called “Super Happy Fun Days”.
The idea is based around the concept that when you get to the end of your life you will not be talking about the houses you bought or the cars you drive, it will almost all be about the moments that you shared with other people and to maximise the number of these moments they were born.
Here is how to have your own Super Happy Fun Day.
You will need:
- A friend/s
- Some cash about $100
Instructions:
You are going to hang out with your friend for a day and go on some crazy memorable adventures with them.
Here are the rules:
- You must be together for at least 9 hours
- You must eat out at least twice at 2 seperate places
- You must partake in 2 seperate activities together
- No work
- For bonus points drive or fly to a completely new city
What you will notice if you have never done this before that it creates a vacuum that you feel obliged to fill with fun things and experiences.
Another tip that I have found to be very useful in my life is to have at least one person in your party who can be characterised as “the life of the party” as not only will they thrive on your Super Happy Fun Day, but they will make the party at least twice as fun as without them.
Leave a comment with your Super Happy Fun Day experience!
